Kieinfeider & Associates is pleased to submit our <br /> proposed scope of work and cost estimate to perform sampling and <br /> laboratory analysis to assess whether product leakage has <br /> occurred from the Public Safety Building tank scheduled for <br /> closure. According to" information provided to us and observations <br /> made during our personal review of the site the following <br /> pertinent tank and site conditions are believed to exist : <br /> 0 The tank is rine feet in diameter and 39 feez in length. <br /> 0 The tank rests on a two foot thick concrete slab. <br /> o Depth from grade to the bottom of the concrete slab is 2216" . <br /> o Tank capacity is 18 ,400 gallons. <br /> o The tank was used to store leaded gasoline from 1965-1975 <br /> and then unleaded gasoline until the present time. <br /> o The surface at grade is two-inch thick asphalt . <br /> The San Joaquin County Department of Health (Health <br /> Department ) typically requires soil samples be taken underneath <br /> J both ends of a tank to be abandoned in place.
