2.4 Borehole Abandonment <br /> Upon completion of soil sample collection activities, boreholes will be abandoned The <br /> augers will be removed and the open boreholes will be tremae grouted to grade with a 95% <br /> cement, 5% bentonite grout mixture The top of the borehole will be finished to match the <br /> surrounding surface cover <br /> 2.5 Disposal of Contaminated Materials <br /> Drill cuttings from the boreholes, will be stored in 55-gallon 17H drums located in the <br /> parking lot of the site Decontamination, development and purge liquids from the on site <br /> water well will be contained in 55-gallon drums, as they are produced, and stored on-site <br /> The disposable bailers and purge lines from water sampling will be placed in the drums with <br /> drilling cuttings and disposed of with the soil Soil samples not selected for analyses will be <br /> placed into the drums with the drill cuttings to await disposal Used sample sleeves will be <br /> disposed of with the drill cuttings After receipt of the analytical results all stockpiled <br /> cuttings and water will be properly disposed <br /> 2.6 Quality Assurance/Quality Control <br /> Investigative procedures will conform to IT Corporation QA/QC GUIDELINES. California <br /> Registered Geologist Dennis P. Dunn will have technical supervision of all work The <br /> drilling contractor will have a C-57 Water Well Driller Contractors License <br /> 2.7 Presentation of Results <br /> At the conclusion of the field work, IT will prepare a Site Investigation Report which will be <br /> a summary of all activities, procedures, findings, and interpretations on the site. The Site <br /> Investigation Report will include, at a minimum, the following <br /> Site History <br /> Location Map <br /> Site Plan <br /> Soil Boring Logs <br /> Signed Laboratory Reports <br /> Figures showing analytical results of the soil and groundwater samples <br /> Tables summarizing analytical data <br /> Findings <br /> Conclusions - <br /> Recommendations <br /> MZ'W21-93/ENG)93-0127 bk <br /> 6 <br />
