Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Attn: Mr. Eric Trevena
Re: Naiome King Trust
King Island:
Underground Storage Tank Removal
Soil Excavation and Disposal
Dear Eric,
Wright
"` Environmental
Services, Inc.
I have made the changes you requested to the permit package for the Estate of
Naiome King. I have provided the changed pages in triplicate. The following is a
review of the changes and additions made:
Item
1. Page 3 has blank areas for tank ID # and permit # for county to assign
2 . I have prepared a Site Safety Plan for your files
3. Page 4 has been modified with Wright triple rinsing the tank and storing
the rinsate in 55 gallon DOT approved drums for characterization prior to
appropriate disposal. The tank will then be transported as non -hazardous
by Wright to Lerners
4. Disposal of contaminated soil will be documented by an acceptance profile
and weight receipts from Altamont Landfill in closure report
5. The soil from the tank area is not anticipated to be hazardous, therefor it
does not need to be transported by a hazardous waste hauler. I have provided
the name of the trucking company that will probably transport soil to the
landfill
6. Page 10 has been completed with naming the trust as the tank remover,
Wright as the decontaminating contractor, and Lerner being the tanks
ultimate destination for scrapping. Necessary signatures will be provided
upon completion of each task
If you have any questions, please call our Tracy office at (209) 833-0758.
Sincerely,
Wright Environmental Services, Inc.
Lest— er MAkf___
essina
Project Manager
enclosures: Permit modifications, Site Safety Plan
4220 Commercial Dr. #5 • Tracy, California 95376
Telephone (209) 833-0758 • Fax (209) 832-5152 40
