Harding, Stockton, CA <br />Three Single Wall Fiberglass Tank Entry and Inspections <br />Gentlemen: <br />Please find enclosed our permit package with appropriate permit forms, $234.00 <br />fee, subcontractor qualifications and resumes. Also noted below is a brief <br />chronology on how we intend to proceed with the project. <br />As you are aware Scott Co. has been contracted by ARCO Products Co. to enter <br />and inspect the three (3) 12000 gallon single wall fiberglass tanks at the above <br />referenced facility. <br />Upon approval of our permit package from San Joaquin County Environmental <br />Health and Stockton Fire Department, we will schedule an official date with the <br />local agencies; our tentative date for entry is approximately the second week of <br />March. <br />Prior to the entry date, Scott Co. will remove the concrete over layment over the <br />three (3) turbine pump ends, and expose all three (3) tanks to tank top. The <br />product lines will be drained and the turbine pump removed prior to rinsing the <br />tanks. <br />The tanks will be pumped free of product by ARCO Products Co. Scott Co. will <br />subcontract ECI Inc of Stockton to pump and rinse the tanks prior to tank entry. <br />It will be the responsibility of Containment Solutions to de -gas the tanks and <br />cut a 24"x24" hole for entry. Containment Solutions will follow strict confined <br />space entry permit procedures while performing the tank entries. The tank <br />preparation and entry procedures will be overseen by Scott Co. and a Certified <br />Industrial Hygienist, as required by SJCEH. <br />
