ONSTANT RESSURE URBINE What is it? The Red Jacket CPT is a heavy-duty 2 HP flexible performance submersible pump. By keying in on line pressure, a single Red Jacket CPT can fill varying demands from a number of nozzles — from minimal flow right up to the maximum of 10 GPM for a single nozzle or for eight nozzles operating simultaneously. Other than the submersible CPT and its microprocessor, installation as original sta- tion equipment does not involve new, expensive technology or complex support products. For retrofits, the CPT sub- mersible pump is completely extractable and retrofittable. How does it work? Unlike first -generation competitive systems that rely on variations in electrical demand to alter pump speed and pressure (which can be affected by other factors), the Red Jacket CPT microprocessor utilizes a trans- ducer to regulate the output of this flexible performance pump: it produces a steady, constant flow at each of several nozzles operating at the same time. N4 The Red Jacket CPT provides electronic catastrophic line leak detection with auto- matic flow cut-off as standard. Monthly and annual eve ine leak detection is also available. Unlike other makes of line leak detection equipment, the Red jacket CPT provides full line protection from (an including) the pump seals to the dispenser. How is the system monitored and man- aned day to day? The Red Jacket CPT microproces- sor shows a green LED while it's working. If a 'hard' fault occurs the controller automatically dis- ables the pump, displays a red LED, and issues a repetitive audio warning. Station employees are alerted to 'soft' faults by the same audio warning plus a yel- low, flashing LED. In the event of either type of problem, Red Jacket provides service station employees with clear, easy -to -follow instructions. Located on the wall -mounted unit, these guidelines enable the employees to respond with 'hands-off' procedures that immediately and safely remove them from the decision-making loop and that simultaneously alert your trained emergency team.
