Copies of the non-hazardous <br /> waste manifests are included in Appendix E. <br /> 4.0 Site Restoration <br /> Upon completion of the tank removal activities, the tank excavation was backfilled by Fuller on <br /> January 23, 2001. The excavation was backfilled using clean imported gravel that was tamped <br /> with a backhoe. Site restoration activities were completed independent of IT oversight. <br /> 5.0 Conclusions <br /> Based on the field observations and laboratory analytical data presented in this report, IT <br /> concludes the following: <br /> • On January 5,2001, the 3,000-gallon UST was removed from the site. <br /> • No soil staining or petroleum hydrocarbon odors were observed in the fill material <br /> or tank/piping excavation during removal activities. <br /> • Groundwater was not encountered during excavation activities. <br /> • No TPH-D, BTEX or MTBE detections were reported in the soil samples collected <br /> from the tank excavation. TPH-D was detected at a concentration of 1.7 ppm in the <br /> composite sample collected from soil stockpile. <br /> • Approximately 102 cubic yards of soil generated during tank installation activities <br /> were transported to the Forward, Inc.
