All bridges intended for vehicular traffic must be constructed to withstand twice the load of <br /> the heaviest vehicle expected. <br /> 7.7 BARRICADES AND FENCES <br /> Excavated areas must be completely guarded on all sides with barricades or fences, as <br /> appropriate. If barricades are used, they must be spaced no more than 20 feet apart and <br /> shall not be less than 35 inches high when erected.
