Monier Roof Tile
SITE HISTORY
On May 11 , 1995 one (1 ) 10,000 gallon #2 diesel storage tank (tank #39-158802)
was removed under the direction of San Joaquin County Public Health Services
and the French Camp Fire Department Fire Prevention Division. (Permit
#FP9500050)
Subsequent to the removal of the tanks soil samples were obtained from the North
and South End of the excavation (TP-1 at -14 1/2' and TP-2 at 12' respectively).
TP-1 revealed the presence of diesel fuel contamination at a level of 9,000 p.p.m
while TP-2 was non-detectable. Four samples were also obtained from the
overburden soil stockpile and composited at the lab. The overburden soil was
found to contain an average concentration of 930 p.p.m. diesel fuel. Upon
completion of obtaining soils samples the excavation was loosely backfilled with
the overburden soil to stabilize the excavation and reduce the potential safety
hazards.
