Monier Roof Tile <br /> EXCAVATION WORK PLAN <br /> The objective of the following sequence of work is to remove and dispose of diesel <br /> contaminated soil found at the North End of the former 10,000 gallon storage <br /> tank. <br /> 1) Coordinate all work with San Joaquin County Public Health Services, giving 48 <br /> hours notice prior to commencement. <br /> 2) Remove existing pavement 5' East and 5' North of existing excavation. (See <br /> enclosed diagram) <br /> 3) Excavate and remove existing overburden soil temporarily placed into the <br /> excavation. <br /> 4) Excavate approximately 150 cubic yards of diesel contaminated soil from North <br /> End of excavation to a depth of not more than twenty (20) feet, unless <br /> authorized by San Joaquin County Public Health Services. <br /> 5) Coordinate confirmation sampling and analysis for TPH-D and BTEX by Geo <br /> Analytical Laboratories, a state certified facility. (See proposed confirmation <br /> sample map) <br /> 6) Upon receipt of non-detectable confirmation soil analysis or determination of <br /> feasibility of continued excavation, the excavation shall be backfilled with 3/8" <br /> peagravel to meet San Joaquin County Building Department requirements with <br /> 3/4" aggregate sub base compacted in preparation for final paving. <br /> 7) All diesel contaminated soils shall be disposed of at Forward, Inc. which is a <br /> licensed Class II facility in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal <br /> regulations. Copies of all documents shall be provided to San Joaquin County <br /> Public Health Services and Owner's representative. <br />
