u
HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN
TIME OIL/JACKPOT
Page 3
u
hospital and route to be taken should an injury occur. A copy of the map will
also be on the job site.
Specific hazard avoidance: Removal of six (6) tanks (see above) at the above
location (see above) and the required support services will expose the
premises, work personal and general public to certain and particular risks.
Said risks and the proposed safety procedures should any specific risk develop
are described herein as follows:
1) the three (3) 1,000 gallon tanks are approximately 60' from Harney
Lane and are not close to any known plumbing or premise dangers. A well is
approximately 210 feet away with a building between the tanks and the well.
2) the remaining three (3) tanks are grouped near an existing island and
are plumbed into the island. All necessary precautions have been taken to as-
sure safe removal and disconnect of the plumbing. The previously described
well is approximately 50 feet from the tanks and does not present any known
hazard.
3) the detailed site map attached shows that the tanks, piping and ad-
jacent properties do not expose the premises or people involved to any hazards
due to septic tanks, leachfields, building, water lines, sanitary or storm
sewers or other location hazards.
4) the accompanying hospital route diagram shows the quickest and most
feasible route from the jobsite to Lodi Memorial Hospital, Lodi, Ca. should
transportation of anyone injured at the jobsite be necessary.
5) all workers employed by Western Meter Service, Inc. at the jobsite
are experienced at their work, aware of all safety precautions, and have been
instructed and trained at the safety and shop meetings described herein. No
overtime hours are anticipated.
6) Fire District personnel are advised of this operation.
7) no cutting, welding or other procedures requiring the use of flame or
electricity is anticipated.
8) a gas detector and atmosphere indicator will be present, available
and used at all pertinent times during this operation.
