ENVIRONMEWAL HEALTH
Environmental Health Division PERMIT/SERVICES
445 N. San Joaquin Street
Stockton, CA 95201
Dear Robert:
I would like to address your concerns regarding our underground storage tanks
at 140 Lathrop Road, Lathrop:
1. The overspill containment system we plan to use is a Phil-Tite Spill
Collector #85000. We specify the five gallon size on sheet TI-7. I
called the manufacture to obtain the cut sheets you requested, and was
told that they do not have any cut sheets which indicate the actual
volume. Philip E. Smith, President of Phil-Tite said he would call you
directly to confirm the size of the containment bucket.
2. The overfill protection device we plan to use is an OPW 61 SO-410c
overspill prevention valve, which was included with our original cut
sheets. We will indicate it in Detail 3A, on Sheet TL4.
3. We have noted "piping must undergo tightness test, by a state
approved method, prior to final approval of installation" on sheet TL2.
If you should have any questions regarding these responses, please feel free to
call me.
Sincerely,
Chicho Ruiz
Project Architect
2115 J Street • Suite 213 • Sacramento, CA 95816 • 91 6.443.2560 • FAX 916.448.6583
