2.0 DATA COLLECITON <br /> The UST was removed and samples were collected from the excavation as required by the <br /> County of San Joaquin, Environmental Health Division. These activities were conducted <br /> on April 15, 1994 under the supervision of Ms. Pamela Violett, Senior Registered <br /> Environmental Health Specialist, County of San Joaquin. <br /> a 2.1 TANK REMOVAL <br /> The FAA applied for and obtained an Underground Storage Tank Permit (Forms A and B) <br /> from the State of California State Water Resources Control Board (Appendix B). <br /> RMCI arrived on-site on April 15, 1994. The UST was inerted in-place with dry ice. The <br /> FAA contractor measured the lower explosion limit and oxygen levels inside the UST, and <br /> found the readings were below the regulatory levels. <br /> Excavation of the UST began with approval from Ms. Violett. There was no evidence of <br /> leakage, staining or odor in the excavation. After the UST was removed from the <br /> excavation, H & H Environmental Services Inc. transported the UST to Schnitzer Steel, <br /> Oakland, California where it was properly disposed of. <br /> Stockton ASR UST <br /> Removal/Closure Report 2 June 24, 1994 <br />
