In Dualoy 3000/FLX 11 containment systems, specially designed flexible Dualoy 3000/FLX 11 piping conveys fuel from the tank sumps to the dispensers. Dualoy 3000/FLX II primary pipe is completely contained by mechanically -joined 3 -inch NIS Dualoy 3000/1- rigid -wall containment piping. Dualoy 3000/FLX II containment systems combine the convenience and simplicity of flexible primary installation with the structural superiority of rigid -wall secondary containment: • All joints in the containment piping are made using mechanically -joined fiberglass pipe and fittings consisting of long -radius 45° and 90° sweep elbows and no -adhesive, push -on fiberglass couplings, thus speeding installation of the containment pipe and providing all-weather installation. Rigid -wall construction facilitates constant slope throughout the piping system. Dualoy 3000/FLK II primary pipe is installed simply by pulling it through the rigid -wall containment line_ The primary pipe employs field -installed swivel end connectors that make up to ordinary NPT threaded fittings. Dualoy 3000/FLX 11 systems can be easily configured to allow pressure testing and monitoring of the containment at any time during the lifetime of the system.
