A1004 Super Duty Containment Manhole 'r -- r- k Manholes The A1004 Super Duty Con- tainment Manhole is the latest generation in spill contain- ment. Designed from the specifications supplied by numerous U.S.T. owners and installers, the A1004 is the highest quality containment manhole offered by Emco Wheaton. The numerous features include the specially sloped drainage channels in. the rim to keep the surface water out. This heavy duty cast iron rim also incorporates a streamline crown shape built to handle the abuse of snow plows. A super duty cast iron lid will withstand heavy traffic loads and discourage theft. The A1004 threads directly on a 4" riser pipe and includes factory installed preset expan- sion bars to make installation easy and correct. A push down high flow internal drain saves on drainage time and supplies a reliable seal. The medium density polyethylene bellows allow for tank move- ment or concrete pad settling. The Al 004 also features grade level installation so it com- pletely isolates the surface grade from the environment below. The A1004 is CARIB certified.
