supervision of a trained, experienced supervisor. In addition they have 8-hour refresher training each year. Certifications of training are available upon request. PROJECT WORKPLAN All work at the site will be conducted in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations, the project specifications, and Glacier's Site Safety and Health Plan. Following the approval of this plan and receipt of applicable permits, Glacier will mobilize the necessary manpower, equipment and materials to the site to begin work. The duration of work at each site is estimated to be an average of 10 workdays. Glacier proposes to complete the following tasks associated with completion of the work: • Submit this Workplan; permit applications, and applicable fees to the San Joaquin Environmental Health Department for a piping repair permit • Submit applications for Authority to construct to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution to install Phase I EVR. • Conduct both one-call and private utility locates to identify buried utilities in the area of work/excavation. • A preconstruction safety meeting will be held at the site prior to beginning of site work. The meeting will be attended by the Glacier Safety and Health Manager, Site Safety and Health Officer(SSHO), and Project Superintendent. • Electrical energy supplying fuel dispensers, product pumps and monitoring systems will be disconnected, locked and tagged out per the Site Safety Health Plan. • Prior to commencement of work the work area(s) will be enclosed with six-foot tall temporary chain link fence. No smoking signs will be posted in conspicuous locations and employees or other visitors will be prohibited from carrying matches or lighters into the work area. Two 20- pound ABC dry chemical extinguishers will be located within the immediate vicinity of the work. • During all work, Glacier will maintain a ready supply of drip pans and spill cleanup equipment including a spill kit consisting: • 1 bale 3M Type 156 absorbent pads • 1 40 pound bag of granular absorbent (kitty litter) • 6 each poly spill bags • Glacier will provide adequate clothing and equipment for the work and protection of personnel. Personal protective equipment including respiratory protection is described in the attached Site Safety and Health Plan. • Fuel dispensers will be drained, capped or plugged and removed from the pump island(s) and stored on-site for reinstallatioh. • Existing primary and secondary piping will be trenched, excavated and removed. Prior to removal, primary product lines will be drained back to the tanks where possible or pumped dry with pneumatic equipment. Page 2
