In addition they have 8-hour refresher training each <br /> year. <br /> Certifications of training are available upon request. <br /> PROJECT WORKPLAN <br /> All work at the site will be conducted in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations, the <br /> project specifications, and Glacier's Site Safety and Health Plan. <br /> Following the approval of this plan and receipt of applicable permits, Glacier will mobilize the necessary <br /> manpower, equipment and materials to the site to begin work. The duration of work at each site is <br /> estimated to be an average of 10 workdays. <br /> Glacier proposes to complete the following tasks associated with completion of the work: <br /> • Submit this Workplan; permit applications, and applicable fees to the San Joaquin Environmental <br /> Health Department for a piping repair permit <br /> • Submit applications for Authority to construct to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution to install <br /> Phase I EVR. <br /> • Conduct both one-call and private utility locates to identify buried utilities in the area of <br /> work/excavation. <br /> • A preconstruction safety meeting will be held at the site prior to beginning of site work. The <br /> meeting will be attended by the Glacier Safety and Health Manager, Site Safety and Health <br /> Officer(SSHO), and Project Superintendent. <br /> • Electrical energy supplying fuel dispensers, product pumps and monitoring systems will be <br /> disconnected, locked and tagged out per the Site Safety Health Plan. <br /> • Prior to commencement of work the work area(s) will be enclosed with six-foot tall temporary <br /> chain link fence. No smoking signs will be posted in conspicuous locations and employees or <br /> other visitors will be prohibited from carrying matches or lighters into the work area. Two 20- <br /> pound ABC dry chemical extinguishers will be located within the immediate vicinity of the work. <br /> • During all work, Glacier will maintain a ready supply of drip pans and spill cleanup equipment <br /> including a spill kit consisting: <br /> • 1 bale 3M Type 156 absorbent pads <br /> • 1 40 pound bag of granular absorbent (kitty litter) <br /> • 6 each poly spill bags <br /> • Glacier will provide adequate clothing and equipment for the work and protection of personnel. <br /> Personal protective equipment including respiratory protection is described in the attached Site <br /> Safety and Health Plan. <br /> • Fuel dispensers will be drained, capped or plugged and removed from the pump island(s) and <br /> stored on-site for reinstallatioh. <br /> • Existing primary and secondary piping will be trenched, excavated and removed. Prior to <br /> removal, primary product lines will be drained back to the tanks where possible or pumped dry <br /> with pneumatic equipment. <br /> Page 2 <br />
