Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Dear Ms. Cotulla: <br /> Due to a further clarification, it is necessary to amend the closure <br /> plan for removal of the underground tank at Carnation Company, 1815 Navy <br /> Drive, Stockton. Enclosed is a copy of the closure plan which was <br /> approved on 4-30-86. Item 113 should read as follows: <br /> 3. The tank is an estimated 3500 gallons. The tank was previously <br /> a waste water tank. Analysis of residual sludge revealed the <br /> presence of the following: <br /> Tetrachloroethene 59 MG/L <br /> Trichlorethene 2 MG/L <br /> Ethylbenzene 20 MG/L <br /> As stated in Items 415 and 117 all waste material will be disposed of <br /> in a licensed Class I landfill. <br /> If further information is needed, or if you have further questions, <br /> please call me at (916) 985-6666. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Christopher M.
