BANDS&CO. <br /> REMOVAL PROCESS <br /> REMOVAL OF THE PRODUCT FROM THE PIPING <br /> Banks & Co. will be responsible for removing residual liquids <br /> from the underground piping and returning it to the <br /> underground storage tanks . The employees will wear the <br /> appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) , for this type <br /> of operation level D should be appropriate . The removal of <br /> the product will be done by turning off the electrical supply <br /> to the submerged turbine pump. Removing the leak detector <br /> from the submerged turbine pump and replacing it with a 2 " <br /> plug. The plug in the impact safety valve will be removed and <br /> a hose installed into the port . Removal of the vent cap will <br /> be required to keep from pressurizing the underground storage <br /> tanks . We will use nitrogen to blow the product back into the <br /> tanks . <br /> REMOVAL OF THE DISPENSER <br /> Banks & Co. shall disconnect the electrical power from the <br /> existing control console and breakers . The electrical wiring <br /> will be disconnected and capped to keep them from arcing, <br /> incase the power is accidently reapplied. The dispensers will <br /> be disconnected from the product piping, vapor recovery piping <br /> and the electrical conduits . After these are disconnected, <br /> the dispenser will be lifted off by two men and placed on the <br /> concrete next to the islands . The dispensers will be moved to <br /> the back of the station with a hand truck, until they are <br /> removed for disposal . <br /> REMOVAL OF THE CONTROL CONSOLE <br /> The console will be disconnected from the power source . The <br /> existing wires will be disconnected and capped off . The <br /> console will be moved out of the store and placed with the <br /> dispensers for disposal . <br /> SAW CUTTING OF THE CONCRETE <br /> We will use a concrete saw to cut the concrete for removal . <br /> The operator of the saw will wear the appropriate Level D <br /> PPE. Caution must be taken to keep from slipping on the water <br /> and saw waste . <br /> REMOVAL OF THE CONCRETE AND OVERHEAD CANOPY <br /> 9 SITE SAFETY PLAN <br />
