BANKS&CO. <br /> We are contracting with Hawkeye Enterprises out of Bishop, CA, <br /> (760) 872-4512 . They will be removing of the concrete and <br /> overhead canopy. The dispensers will be removed and the <br /> product piping and conduits capped off before the concrete <br /> removal starts . Hawkeye Enterprises will be required to wear <br /> the appropriate PPE. The debris will be hauled off the <br /> disposed of at the local dump. The existing footings will be <br /> removed and disposed of to make room for the proposed overhead <br /> canopy. <br /> EXCAVATION <br /> The underground product piping and electrical conduits will <br /> need to be exposed for relocation to the new dispensers . <br /> Banks & Co. will use shovels and hand tools to uncover the <br /> piping. Employees will be required to use the appropriate PPE <br /> equipment . It is assumed that Level D PPE will be required. <br /> CUTTING OF THE PRODUCT PIPING <br /> Banks & Co. will use a hack saw and in-trench pipe reamer to <br /> cut the piping and prepare it for the modifications that will <br /> be required to accommodate the new dispensers . <br /> INSTALLATION OF THE BRAVO PANS <br /> The proposed Bravo under-dispenser containment pans will be <br /> installed and set to the proper elevation. The pans will be <br /> held in place with lumber until the has been piping has been <br /> installed and tested and the backfill material has been <br /> placed. The Bravo pans will be set approximately M" higher <br /> then the island forms to allow for drainage . <br /> MODIFICATION OF THE PIPING <br /> The existing double walled underground piping will be cut and <br /> tapered to allow for the addition of new piping to accommodate <br /> the new dispensers . The piping will be cut with a hack saw <br /> and tapered with a tapering tool . The appropriate PPE will be <br /> used. After the piping has been cut, tapered and dry fitted <br /> it will be "glued" together with the correct epoxy. After the <br /> epoxy has been applied and the piping "glued" as directed by <br /> the manufacturer' s instructions it will be allowed to dry <br /> until the epoxy has cured. <br /> After the primary piping has been installed and tested, the <br /> secondary piping will be glued into place . <br /> 10 SITE SAFETY PLAN <br />
