II. All employees should review the Service Station Monitoring Plan, of which this <br /> training plan is a part. Specifically, each employee should understand the procedures <br /> to be used in responding to various kinds of emergencies, and know how to monitor for <br /> leaks of hazardous materials. As a supplement to this package, employees should also <br /> review the Emergency Response Plan filed by your business to the appropriate local <br /> agency. Thirdly, employees should review and have access to the Materials Safety Data <br /> Sheets you have on file for each of the hazardous materials stored at the station. <br /> III. FIPS'i' AID PROCEDURES (For exposure to gasoline or diesel fuel) : <br /> A. EYE CONTACT: For direct contact, flush the affected eye(s) with clean water. If <br /> irritation or redness develops, seek medical attention. <br /> B. S= CONTACT: Wipe product from skin and remove soaked clothing. Cleanse <br /> affected area(s) thoroughly by washing with soap and water. If irritation <br /> develops and persists, seek medical attention. Do not use solvents or thinners <br /> to remove product from skin. <br /> C. aRa=0N (Breath.ipg) : if symptoms of exposure develop, move victim away from <br /> source of exposure and into fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek medical <br /> attention. Symptoms include: flushing, blurred vision, dizziness, nausea, <br /> headache, drowsiness, loss of coordination, and fatigue. <br /> If victim is not breathing or if breathing difficulties develop, artificial <br /> respiration or oxygen should be administered by qualified personnel. Seek <br /> =mediate medical attention. <br /> D.
