The buildings are equipped with multiple fans, and filter bank
plenums. These filters are periodically changed and stored in DOT approved 55-
gallon fiber drums for disposal.
Dried paint filter waste is generated in this process, and stored for transport by North
State Environmental. The dried paint waste is transported to Filter Recycling Services
in Rialto, CA. Filter Recycling mixes the waste with other solids that are used in road
base, and or fill.
• Assessment of the effect of each implemented hazardous waste management approach
since the baseline year of 2002:No current management approach has yet to be
adopted, other than recycling
• Describe factors affecting major waste streams:
1) Changes in business activity: Hazardous waste generation has increased due to
increased business activity
2) Changes in waste classification by the government: There have been no changes
to the waste classification code of this waste stream
3) Natural phenomena: N/A
25
