Vasquez, VERMIX/ <br /> REPORT OF VIOLATION AND SCHEDULE FOR COMPLIANCE, R.V. CIRCUITS 916 S. <br /> CENTER STREET, STOCKTON - SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> On October 28, 1987, the Department of Health Services (DHS) conducted <br /> an inspection of R.V. Circuits (RV) located at 916 S. Center Street in <br /> Stockton. <br /> As a result of that inspection, violations of hazardous waste statutes <br /> and regulations were identified. <br /> Specific violations and required corrective action is listed below. <br /> Failure to correct the identified violations within the schedule <br /> provided will result in DHS citing you for continuing/additional <br /> violations. <br /> I . A. Section 25154 , California Health and Safety Code <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to store or dispose of <br /> any hazardous waste except as provided for in the Health and <br /> Safety Code or by DHS adopted regulations. <br /> RV has disposed of waste contaminated with lead and copper <br /> in excess of standards adopted pursuant to Section 25141 of <br /> the California Health and Safety Code. Liquid samples taken <br /> by City of Stockton officials show discharge to the sanitary <br /> sewer in excess of State standards which constitutes illegal <br /> disposal . <br /> Additionally, liquid samples taken on October, 28, 1987 from <br /> tanks located in RV' s yard area show pH levels of the liquid <br /> at 1 .00 and 1 . 11 . A pH of less than 2 is considered a <br /> hazardous waste and these tanks may constitute illegal <br /> storage. <br /> B. Section 66471 , California Administrative Code <br /> RV has not made a hazardous waste determination pursuant to <br /> Article 9 or 11 of the California Administrative Code. <br />
