The following violations were noted and must <br /> be corrected immediately: <br /> 1. Cement weld all cracks or chips in the flooring in the north building connected to the <br /> main warehouse. All flooring shall be liquid-tight due to the nature of the products <br /> stored. California Fire Code (CFC), Article 80, §8003.12.1.1 <br /> 2. Isolate all highly toxic liquids and solids from other hazardous materials with one-hour <br /> fire-resistive construction or store in approved hazardous material storage cabinets. <br /> Remove the Themix solid from the north added room currently being used for parts <br /> storage. CFC §8003.1.4. <br /> 3. Submit a current Hazardous Material Inventory statement to the Fire Prevention Division. <br /> CFC, §8001.3.3a. <br /> 4. Maintain all empty containers and tanks previously used for storage of hazardous <br /> materials free from residual material and vapor. Clean and mark the empty containers <br /> located on the north side of the facility, which have residual material in them. Stack or <br /> store the containers in an orderly manner. CFC, §8001.4.6. <br /> 5. Hazardous materials around and within the unapproved secondary containment system <br /> shall be cleaned and removed by an approved method. Hydrocarbon spills outside the <br /> north add-on building shall be cleaned and disposed in an approved manner. Do not <br /> allow the release of hazardous materials onto the ground. CFC, §8001.5.1. <br /> 6. Place visible hazard identification signs on stationary aboveground tanks and at <br /> entrances where hazardous materials are stored, dispensed, used or handled. The <br /> aboveground tanks in the west and north lots shall be marked for content with approved <br /> signage. Entrances to the building shall be marked.
