Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Attn: Mr . Renaldo Crooks ,
Dear Mr . Crooks ,
I appreciate the time that you, Mr . Miller , and Ms .
Cotulla spent with me on my recent trip to Stockton .
The following will summarize the items that we
discussed :
1 . Our manufacturing process produces no waste
streams . We , however , use methylene chloride
to clean our pouring tunnel and lines . We run
this effluent through a still to draw off the
methylene chloride . We then mix absorbant with
what is left . These "still bottoms" are then
put in steel drums and hauled away by a liscensed
toxic waste hauler . We will generate about one-
three drums per week of these "still bottoms" .
2 . Because of our valve and electrical control
procedures the chances of a chemical spill are
negligible . If one did occur due to a hole in
a line or some other reason, the spill would be
quite small . The spill would be mixed with
absorbant and drummed and hauled in the same
manner as the "still bottoms" .
3 . The truck shop and wash area will not be part of
the initial plant . We realize that when and if
we build these we will have to install an oil
separator tank and will have to receive your
departments approval .
4 . We plan to have a landscape irrigation well on
the property and understand that this will
MANUFACTURERS OF COMFORT CUSHIONING PRODUCTS
