soluble threshold limit concentration (STLC) on any sample that the chromium values
detected by the TTLC analysis exceed 10 times the STLC limit.
The TTLC results were received in July 27's(see attached). The chromium concentration
from sample locations 1, 2, and 3 exceeded 10 times the STLC limit of 5 mg/l. The
results were as follows.
Sample No. TTLC Chromium Value
mg/kg
Sierra Chem -1 57
Sierra Chem -2 78
Sierra Chem -3 160
Sierra Chem -4 21
Based on the results of the TTLC analysis a STLC analysis for chromium was conducted
on each sample. The results were received August 8, 2006 (see attached). The
concentration in each of the samples was well below the 5 mg/1 STLC limit.
Sample No. STLC Chromium Value
mg/l
Sierra Chem -1 1.4
Sierra Chem -2 1.6
Sierra Chem -3 3.8
Sierra Chem -4 2.0
The results are below the limit considered toxic by the State of California. They indicate
that the previous sample collected on July 28, 2005 was anomalous and not representative
of the area.
Thank You for your consideration and assistance in this matter.
SigRegul
l
ic Co.
mmingsCompliance anager
CC: //David J Irey
Supervising Deputy District Attorney
Environmental Prosecutions Unit
P.O.
