August 2, 2005 <br /> 1010 Industrial Drive page 2 <br /> Stockton, CA 95206 <br /> (Sierra Chemical has developed an interim procedure that they will no <br /> longer support their own response team. I requested that they change the <br /> Executive Summary in their RMP. Requested that they still provide current <br /> fit test records and written respiratory program). <br /> 6. Facility Map Complete and Accurate <br /> Additional chemicals were identified during the inspection. An updated facility <br /> site map is required. <br /> Indicate location of emergency response equipment(SCBA, PPE, chlorine kits). <br /> (Business will provide updated site map.) <br /> 7. Chemical Inventory Complete and Accurate <br /> The following chemicals were identified to be added to the chemical inventory or <br /> change the quantities amounts or types of containers: <br /> * Hydrochloric Inhibitor, 55-gallon plastic drum <br /> * Hydride Lime—over 500 lbs in cardboard drum <br /> * Nitrogen <br /> * Soda Ash—over 500 lbs <br /> * Motor oil in tote, no longer one 55-gallon drum <br /> • There is no hazardous waste listed in the inventory. There were 55-gallon <br /> drum of waste oil, over pack containers of unlabeled material. All <br /> reportable waste is required to be added to the chemical inventory. <br /> (Business will submit new chemical inventories.) <br /> 10. Plant Operations Appear Safe <br /> Eye wash station by truck fill area. Cover cap gone, leaves in bowl, part of the <br /> bowl is broken off. <br /> (Will replace eye wash station.) <br /> Tank Farm area; numerous continues leaks of caustic are going into the secondary <br /> containment. <br /> (Will work on stopping the leaks.) <br />
