I pH the liquid and it was 13 to 14. (Business has hired a contractor to remove from site.) Filling area for 55-gallon drums, spillage of caustic solution is all over the work area. This action could potentially be considered a reportable chemical release, reportable according to California Health and Safety Code Chapter 6.95. (Requested that this fill operation be conducted in a secondary containment area.) In side warehouse by compressor is a machine used for caustic. It has secondary containment that is a quarter full of caustic and leaking from the secondary containment onto the floor. (They will work on resolving the leaking issues.)
