Storage of cylinders shall be under a canopy of noncombustible construction. There are <br /> approximately 15 to 25 one ton chlorine gas cylinders on the bed of a truck or on the <br /> ground in storage in back lot. CFC. 8003.3.2.4 <br /> 2. An automatic fire-sprinkler system shall be provided for canopies used for storage of <br /> highly toxic or toxic compressed gases. CFC, 8003.2.4 <br /> 3. One or more gas cabinets or an exhaust ventilation enclosure shall be provided to <br /> handle potential leaking cylinders. CFC, 8003.3.3.3 <br /> Please contact Deputy Fire Marshal Miller at 937-8271, to schedule a meeting with Sierra <br /> Chemical officials and officials from City of Stockton Building and Fire Prevention Divisions to <br /> discuss time lines to meet compliance of the fire code violations. The meeting must take place <br /> before August 30, 2002. Items that do not require plan checking shall be completed by August <br /> 23, 2002. <br /> W.
