#20 66262.34 (CCR) Failed to properly label containers of hazardous waste. <br /> All containers with hazardous waste were tagged with updated labels including <br /> 1) Hazardous Waste 2) Name and Address 3) Content 4)Accumulation start date, <br /> including the day 5) Physical State 6) Hazardous Properly. All corrections were made <br /> by Billy Whiteside (the Hazardous Waste Supervisor) and completed by September 13, <br /> 2002. Notations were included in the instructions for completion of the labels and were <br /> reviewed by the Safety and Hazardous Waste Supervisors. All new drums now in the <br /> shop have an updated accumulation start date. <br /> #45 66265.52 (CCR) Contingency plan incomplete. <br /> A copy of the Contingency Plan was completed by Steve Hockett on September <br /> 6, 2002 and placed in all appropriate areas of the shop. This includes the chemical <br /> room, the stripping and sandblast room, the employee interest area and all areas with a <br /> close proximity to a phone. A copy is included and faxed with this letter. <br /> Please review the corrections to the violations as specified in the report prepared <br /> above.
