Section 66371 (a) (b) , Title 22, California <br /> Administrative Code <br /> (a) permits are required for treatment, storage or disposal of hazardous waste. <br /> Owners and operators of hazardous waste facilities shall have permits during the active life <br /> (including the closure period) of the facility and, for any facility which closes after January <br /> 26, 1983, during any post-closure care period required under Section 67217, and during an <br /> compliance period specified under Section 67186, including any extension of that compliance <br /> period under Section 67186 (c). <br /> (b) Permits are required for: <br /> (2) Treatment, storage or disposal of hazardous waste at facilities re- <br /> quiring an NPOES permit. However, the owner and operator of a pubticly own- <br /> ed treatment works (POTws) receiving hazardous waste will be deemed to have <br /> a permit for that waste if they empty with the requirements of Section <br /> 66392 (permit by rule for POWs). <br /> Indy Electronics is operating a treatment facility without a per- <br /> mit issued by the Department. <br /> II. Schedule for Correction <br /> Violation # l: Within 30 days receipt of this Report, dispose <br /> of all hazardous waste stored in excess of 90 days. Copies of <br /> the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest used to transport those <br /> wastes shall be submitted to this office. <br /> Violation # 2 : By March 1, 1988 a correctly completed Bien- <br /> nial Report for hazardous wastes generated in 1987 shall be <br /> submitted to this Department. <br /> Violation # 3 : Within 30 days of receipt of this Report, a <br /> Training Plan shall be completed outlining: <br /> - Emergency response and hazardous waste management <br /> procedures discussed in on-the-job or classroom <br /> training of personnel. <br /> - The names and titles of facility personnel who work <br /> in areas of hazardous waste management. <br /> - Verification that employees have received training <br /> and the date the training was completed. <br />
