During the inspection the employee marked the tank with the words "Hazardous Waste". Continue <br /> to ensure that all hazardous waste tanks are marked with the required information. Corrected on site. <br /> 27. Three 55 gallon drums of hazardous waste paint and three 55 gallon drums of hazardous waste oily <br /> sludge and water were left open. All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except <br /> when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste <br /> containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. Minor-Notice to Comply. <br /> 52. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at <br /> least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and <br /> the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency <br /> coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the <br /> phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an <br /> emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form is provided that can be <br /> used for this purpose. Submit proof of correction to the EHD by 8-26-11. Minor-Notice to Comply. <br /> 60, 61, & 62. Manifest number 008052202JJK, 008052286JJK, 008052287JJK were found without a <br /> signed off copy from the destination facility. Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all <br /> manifests signed off by the destination facility on site for three years and have them readily available for <br /> review. If the generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the <br /> owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste was submitted within 60 days of the date <br /> the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit a legible copy of the missing <br /> manifest, with some indication that the generator has not received confirmation of delivery. This <br /> information shall be submitted to: <br /> DTSC Report Repository <br /> Generator Information Services Section <br /> P.O. Box 806 <br /> Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 <br /> Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifest or prepare and submit the required information to <br /> DTSC. By 8-26-11, submit to the EHD a copy of the signed off copy of the manifest or a copy of the <br /> information submitted to DTSC. Minor-Notice to Comply. <br /> 83. The boxes of Universal Waste(UW) lamps on the shelf of the maintenance storage area were not <br /> labeled as Universal Waste Lamps.
