Maintenance Manager/Shift Maintenance Supervisor mBDEscwpnoN Essential Functions: • Oversee the daily operation of the maintenance department. • Responsible for conducting hazardous waste inspections daily/weekly/monthly. • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the maintenance shop through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs. • Provide training and presentations as needed in a positive and professional manner. • May be called on to perform physical waste activities (e.g., filling, moving and labeling containers, preparing waste for shipment, etc.). • Signing Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests and/or Consolidated Manifests, Bills of Lading, etc. • Oversee/perform small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. • Update and submit required reports in a timely manner. • Ensure that environmental records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State regulation. Training • SPCC plan and Spill Prevention/Response Training (initial &annual) • Hazard Communication Program (initial &annual) • DOT requirements and procedures (initial &annual) • Hazardous Waste Material Business Plan to include Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan (initial & annual) • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (initial &annual) • Injury Illness &Prevention Program (initial &annual) Energy Control Program (initial &annual) • Hazardous Materials/waste training includind; including Universal Waste, Asbestos, and CFC containing appliances (initial &annual) • First Aid/ CPR training (initial &biannually) Education, Skills, and Qualifications: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience working on heavy trucks and diesel engines, valid driver's license and clean driving record, successfully pass pre-employment(post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check. Knowledge of solid waste management and regulatory requirements.
