Yard Worker/Laborer JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> Essential Functions: <br /> • Perform daily clean up such as sweeping the shop area, and other facility areas utilizing <br /> equipment including street sweepers, pressure washers, etc. <br /> • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle parking areas through regular inspections and preventive <br /> maintenance programs. <br /> • Small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. <br /> • Attend weekly/monthly environmental/safety trainings &meetings <br /> Training <br /> • SPCC plan and Spill Prevention/Response Training (initial &annual) <br /> • Hazard Communication Program (initial &annual) <br /> • DOT requirements and procedures (initial &annual) <br /> • Hazardous Waste Material Business Plan to include Hazardous Waste Contingency Plan (initial & <br /> annual) <br /> • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (initial &annual) <br /> • Injury Illness &Prevention Program (initial &annual) <br /> • Energy Control Program (initial &annual) <br /> • Hazardous Materials/waste training includind; including Universal Waste and CFC containing <br /> appliances, and Special and Prohibited Waste(including asbestos) (initial &annual) <br /> Education, Skills, and Qualifications: <br /> No minimum education required. Yard Worker is required to push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 75 <br /> pounds, and occasionally must work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 15 pounds. <br />
