STOCKTON March 02 2016 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> -A 55 gallon blue steel drum of waste absorbent was observed in the hazardous waste storage room with no <br /> hazardous property marked <br /> -A green and white drum of used oil was observed in the pit in the shop with no hazardous waste labeling and a label <br /> stating"empty daily". According to Mr. LaMagra, this has not been emptied daily. <br /> -A 55 gallon green and white drum of used oil was observed under the filter crusher approximately 2/3 full with no <br /> hazardous property. According to Mr. LaMagra,this drum is supposed to be emptied daily. <br /> -The dates on the used oil tank in the shop were faded off. The last legible date is September 2015. According to the <br /> disposal records, this was last picked up on February 9, 2016. <br /> -A 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze was observed in the hazardous waste storage room with no hazardous property <br /> marked <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties (ignitable, corrosive, reactive,toxic) <br /> -physical state(liquid, solid) <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by April 1, 2016. <br /> Note: (corrected on site) <br /> The eyewash station in the hazardous waste storage building was blocked by a table and a metal hose. All facility <br /> communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination <br /> equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of <br /> emergency. Immediately begin this practice. The access to the eyewash was cleared at the time of inspection. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
