District Manager JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> Essential Functions/Duties: <br /> • Responsible for overall site management activities. <br /> • Generally has no direct contact with physical hazardous waste activities. <br /> • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property of the district through <br /> inspections and preventive maintenance programs with department managers. <br /> • Provide training and presentations as needed in a positive and professional manner. <br /> • Ensure that environmental records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State <br /> regulation. <br /> • Update and submit required reports in a timely manner. <br /> Education, Skills, and Qualifications: <br /> Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years in a role with supervisory and P&L <br /> responsibility. Ability to <br /> occasionally exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds. <br /> Maintenance Manager/Supervisor JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> Essential Functions: <br /> • Oversee the daily operation of the maintenance department. <br /> Responsible for conducting hazardous waste inspections daily/weekly/monthly. <br /> Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the maintenance shop through regular inspections <br /> and preventive maintenance programs. <br /> • Provide training and presentations as needed in a positive and professional manner. <br /> • May be called on to perform physical waste activities (e.g., filling, moving and labeling <br /> containers, preparing waste for shipment, etc.). <br /> Signing Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests and/or Consolidated Manifests, Bills of Lading, etc. <br /> • Oversee/perform small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. <br /> • Update and submit required reports in a timely manner. <br /> • Ensure that environmental records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State <br /> regulation. <br />
