Shop Technician JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Functions: • Responsible for equipment maintenance activities generating hazardous waste. • Performs physical waste activities (e.g., filling, moving and labeling containers, preparing waste for shipment, etc.). • Perform daily clean up such as sweeping the shop area, and other facility areas utilizing equipment including street sweepers, pressure washers, etc. • Signing Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests and/or Consolidated Manifests, Bills of Lading, etc. • Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the maintenance shop through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs. • Small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. • Attend weekly/monthly environmental/safety trainings & meetings Education, Skills, and Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age or older, legally eligible to work in the United States, 1 (one) year experience working on heavy trucks and diesel engines, valid driver's license and clean driving record, must be able to supply your own complete set of master mechanic hand tools and impact wrenches, successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check. Yard Worker JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Functions: • Perform daily clean up such as sweeping the shop area, and other facility areas utilizing equipment including street sweepers, pressure washers, etc. • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle parking areas through regular inspections and preventive maintenance programs. • Small spill clean-up activities as necessary following WM policies/procedures. • Attend weekly/monthly environmental/safety trainings &meetings Education, Skills, and Qualifications: No minimum education required. Yard Worker is required to push, pull, drag, and lift items up to 75 pounds, and occasionally must work at shoulder level with equipment weighing up to 15 pounds. Driver JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Functions: • Responsible for pick-up of residential/commercial/industrial waste. • Perform spot-checking of waste containers to verify that no unacceptable waste is present. • Perform curbside used oil & used oil/fuel filter pick-up activities. • Transferring of curbside used oil & used oil/fuel filters from collection vehicle to storage tanks.
