Report completed on December 26, 2013. Checklist <br /> left on site at time of inspection. <br /> Class II violation: (301) <br /> 301. Oil stains were observed on the asphalt, dirt, and gravel throughout the parking area of the facility. <br /> Absorbent was observed over several of the stains on the asphalt. The staining on the dirt and gravel <br /> did not appear fresh. According to Mr. Louie LaMagra and Mr. Todd Neinhouse, vehicle drips and leaks <br /> are cleaned up by spreading absorbent over the top, but stained soil is not removed. Mr. LaMagra <br /> stated that wet spill areas are addressed every morning. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to <br /> minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water <br /> which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean stains, manage according to <br /> Title 22 hazardous waste regulations, and take all necessary steps to prevent future releases of <br /> hazardous waste to the environment. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how <br /> this waste was managed by January 26, 2014. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification to the EHD by January 26, 2014 <br /> along with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each <br /> violation and any supporting paperwork. <br /> Notes: (corrected on site) <br /> - Three 55 gallon black steel drums which previously held antifreeze were observed in the storage room <br /> marked as empty, with no date. Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous <br /> material shall be marked as empty with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of <br /> being emptied.
