Be alert to any unusual behavior on the part of other workers which might indicate <br /> distress, disorientation or other ill effects. Be alert to any unusual change in your <br /> own condition; never ignore warning signs or hesitate to report them at once. Inform <br /> each other of symptoms of nausea, dizziness, headache or respiratory or eye <br /> irritation. <br /> • Maintain a clean and organized work area. <br /> — • Label raw materials, debris, scrap, and waste with appropriate and understandable <br /> labels. <br /> • Require use of appropriate personal protective equipment. <br /> 4.0 JOB HAZARD SUMMARY <br /> Potential hazards associated with the work to be completed at the TNBR facility may <br /> include: <br /> • Exposure to dust containing hazardous levels of copper. If inhaled, this could cause <br /> chronic (long term) health effects. <br /> • Heat stress. <br /> Other possible safety hazards include the potential for slipping, falling, head trauma, <br /> lifting heavy objects, insect bites, etc. All personnel working on the project will wear <br /> appropriate personal protective equipment, including work clothing, eye protection, dust <br /> masks, and work boots. First aid will be available on-site to take care of any minor <br /> injuries. Appropriate emergency services shall be contacted to deal with the emergency <br /> situations more serious than cuts or scrapes. <br /> Page 2 <br />
