Sill <br />Johnson, Vice President, stated that the waste was hazardous waste. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately <br />close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br />Submit a corrective action statement to the EHD once this has been completed. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />400 <br />CCR 66261.7 Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br />In the storage area: <br />-One black steel 55 gallon drum and three blue poly 55 gallon drum that contained oily water was observed with no <br />date when emptied. <br />-Six rusted steel 55 gallon drums were observed with illegible labels. <br />In the oily water filter area: <br />-Two blue 55 gallon drums were observed with no empty label. <br />Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they <br />were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers <br />per this section. Submit a corrective action statement to the EHD once this has been completed. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class Il, <br />601 <br />CCR 66262.34(d) Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br />One white 30 gallon drum containing oily liquid/debris was observed with no accumulation start date. Facilities who <br />generate less than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at <br />any time may store waste on site up to 180 days.
