Main St. <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />May 4, 2009 <br />Re: Sampling Survey Report for Thule Towing Systems —1313 South Stockton Street, <br />Lodi, CA 95240 <br />Dear Ms. Turkatte; <br />On March 24, 2009, Advanced Chemical Transport, Inc. (ACT) obtained wastewater samples to <br />provide sufficient information regarding the nature and extent of contamination, if any, at Thule <br />Towing Systems facility located at 1313 South Stockton Street, Lodi, CA 95240. The sampling was <br />conducted as the result of Non-RCRA hazardous waste liquid that spilled out of an ACT vacuum <br />truck when the overflow valve failed to close and shut off the pump. Approximately 15 gallons was <br />released and spilled on the ground. The drains were rinsed with water and the spill area was <br />pressure washed and cleaned. The sample was taken from the ACT vacuum truck tank due to the <br />drains and lines being clean and had no material to sample. In addition, ACT obtained a sample <br />from the waste stream and the amounts detected are included in Table 1. <br />Argon Analytical Services, Inc. analyzed the test results. The test results revealed no evidence of <br />recognized environmental conditions in connection with the site and therefore, contamination <br />cannot be identified.
