11 I've J <br />THULE TOWING SYSTEMS, LLC. 10/12/2008 <br />Certification of Return to Compliance <br />For Thule Towing Systems, LLC. <br />Inspection date 09/18/08 <br />Under the section of Class H Violations / Repeat Violations, these corrections are either <br />complete or in process of being corrected. <br />Point # Out of Compliance Description and actions to return to compliance <br />15. (PREPAREDNESS) (CCR) 66265.32(c) <br />Decontamination equipment not provided or working adequately in areas <br />where hazardous waste is being generated or stored. At the time of the <br />inspection no eye wash stations were observed at the following locations. <br />a At the inside Steel Yard Satellite Accumulation area <br />A SELF CONTAINED EYE WASH STATION HAS BEEN <br />INSTALLED NST NORTH OF THE SATELLITE <br />ACCUMULATION AREA. <br />b. Out on the South side of the building next to the paint decant totes. <br />A DRENCH SHOWER WITH EYE WASH STATION HAS <br />BEEN INSTALLED JUST WEST (within 10 feet) OF THE <br />DECANT TOTES ACCUMULATION AREA. <br />c. At the North Press Satellite Accumulation area <br />THE SELF CONTAINED EYE WASH STATION AT THIS <br />LOCATION HAS BEEN MOUNTED AND IS ACCESSABLE. <br />d. At the two Satellite Accumulation stations in the welding area <br />TWO DUAL BOTTLE EYEWASH STATIONS HAVE BEEN <br />PURCHASED AND INSTALLED NEXT TO EACH OF THE <br />ACCUMULATION STATIONS IN WELDING. <br />e. At the stage 6 filter waste accumulation drum just south of the <br />stage 7 tank. <br />A DRENCH SHOWER WITH EYE WASH STATION HAS <br />BEEN INSTALLED JUST WEST (within 10 feet) OF THE <br />SOUTH END OF THE STAGE 7 DIP TANK. <br />20. (STORAGE) (CCR) 66262.34 <br />Failed to properly label and position containers of hazardous waste. At <br />the time of inspection a drum in the Waste Accumulation area was not <br />marked with the Hazardous Properties of the waste contained in the drum. <br />Also (10) drums were so positioned that the inspectors could not read the <br />waste labels attached to the side of the drums. <br />THE LABEL WAS CORRECTED WITH THE ADDITION OF THE <br />HAZARDOUS PROPERTIES. THE FOLLOWING WORK DAY ALL <br />HAZARDOUS WASTE DRUMS WERE REPOSITIONED SO THAT <br />
