(OTHER) (CCR) 66261.90 <br />An empty HW or Haz Mat container (larger than 5 gallons) was not <br />marked with the date it was emptied. At the time of inspection on the <br />south side of the building several totes were labeled empty & the date they <br />were emptied. Approximately 4 totes were labeled empty but lacked the <br />date they were emptied. <br />THE LABELS WERE CORRECTED WITH THE ADDITION OF THE <br />DATE THEY WERE EMPTIED AND WILL BE MANAGED WITHIN <br />ONE YEAR OF THOSE DATES. <br />Under the section of Notice to Comply / Minor Violations, these corrections are either <br />complete or in process of being corrected. <br />Point # Out of Compliance Description and actions to return to compliance <br />14. (PREPAREDNESS) (CCR) 662256.32(b) <br />A device capable of calling outside emergency help was not provided. At <br />the time of the inspection a device capable of calling outside help was not <br />available at the hazardous waste accumulation drum in the H-7 area next <br />to the entrance end of stage 1. <br />A CELL PHONE WITH EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBERS <br />PROGRAMED IN IT IS MOUNTED AT THE SITE OF THE <br />HAZARDOUS WASTE DRUM AND A LIST OF THE EMERGENCY <br />NUMBERS ARE POSTED NEXT TO IT. OPERATORS OF THE <br />AREA WILL BE INSTRUCTED IN THE USE OF THE EMERGENCY <br />RESPONSE EQUIPMENT. <br />16. (PREPAREDNESS) (CCR) 66265.33 <br />Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control or <br />deacon equipment. At the time of the inspection waste was observed in <br />the containment pan (spill control equipment) under the two drums at the <br />Steel Yard Satellite Accumulation area. <br />THE SPILL CONTAINMENT FOR THE LIQUID DRUMS IN THE <br />STEEL STORAGE ACCUMULATION AREA HAS BEEN DRAINED <br />AND PROPERLY TRANSFERRED TO A WASTE ACCUMULATION <br />CONTAINER. <br />18, (PREPAREDNESS) (CCR) 66265.35 <br />Failed to maintain adequate aisle space. At the time of the inspection <br />there was not enough aisle space between the Decant Paint totes outside <br />on the south side pad. <br />TOTES HAVE BEEN REPOSITIONED TO ALLOW FOR ACCESS TO <br />READ ALL CONTAINER LABELS. <br />2 <br />
