Stockton Street, Lodi CA <br /> 2/26/04, 3/1/04 <br /> This facility manufactures trailer hitches and motor vehicle accessories. The waste <br /> streams generated as part of the manufacturing process include the following: <br /> Used hydraulic fluid <br /> Contaminated absorbent <br /> Spent coolant <br /> Polishing and plasma fines <br /> Sludge from the tool and die detergent <br /> Sludge from the spent wash solution <br /> Iron phosphate sludge from the undercoating process <br /> Sludge collected from sand and grease trap from paint line <br /> These waste streams were included in their SB-14, Hazardous Waste Minimization Plan <br /> that appeared to be complete at the time of the inspection. <br /> Notice to Comply <br /> 19. Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or <br /> authorization. Without a label completely filled out, it cannot be determined as <br /> to how long the waste has been on site. Remove the contents of the following <br /> containers under a manifest immediately: <br /> a. Two totes of plasma fine in the Fabrication area <br /> b. Bucket of oily liquid around cutting equipment of Fabrication area <br /> c. Three drums of unknown on the west side of the property(labeled parts <br /> wash water) <br /> d. Two drums of paint waste ash <br /> e. At least two drums of wheelabrator waste <br /> f. Discarded drum("No good,has a hole") with oily liquid <br /> g. Two drums of oily liquid had no accumulation start date in the storage <br /> area <br /> h. Paint waste drum in storage area with accumulation start date of 3/20/03 <br /> i. Tote of plasma fine in storage area with accumulation start date of 9/11/04 <br /> j. Skimmer bucket from Stage 1 without a label <br /> k. Drum of sludge from Stage 1 without a label <br /> 1. Two drums of oily liquid in machine shop without a label <br /> m.
