Failed to properly dispose of hazardous waste after storing on site longer than 90 days. An <br /> approximately 100 gallon plastic tote, is currently storing approximately 90 gallons of waste antifreeze <br /> which lists the last start accumulation date of 11/2011. The storage of hazardous waste can remain on <br /> site for storage up to 90 days (3 months). Since the storage of waste antifreeze in this container have <br /> been on site longer than 90 days, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of <br /> this waste antifreeze and submit a copy of the disposal receipt to EHD. <br /> Submit a written statement explaining how to ensure all waste containers will not exceed storage date <br /> limit. <br /> 610. Four metal 55 gallon drums of used oil filters are all lacking start accumulation date. Used oil filters <br /> must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "Drained Used Oil Filter" and marked with an <br /> accumulation start date. Immediately ensure that all used oil filters are managed this way. <br /> -Corrected on site. Found last bill of lading for pick up from 08/2012 and marked date on each drum. <br /> Submit a written statement explaining how to ensure all waste drums of used oil filters will be marked <br /> with a start accumulation date. <br /> 804. Failed to store Universal Waste fluorescent tubes in closed container and in manner that prevents <br /> breakage and release to the environment. Three 8' feet fluorescent tubes were seen laying horizontally <br /> against the wall and on top of the new antifreeze tank and box of several 4' feet used fluorescent tubes. <br /> Fluorescent tubes must be stored in a structurally sound closed container to prevent accidental <br /> breakage. Correct by placing the tubes in a structurally sound closed container. <br /> 809. Stored Universal Waste fluorescent tubes on site longer than 1 year. The Universal Waste label <br /> states a start accumulation date of 07/2009. Owner is unsure if that is the correct start accumulation <br /> date. Universal Waste fluorescent tubes can be stored on site for up to 1 year of start accumulation <br /> date.
