Turner Rd Lodi CA 95240 <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS 1, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />808. Two universal waste(UW) lamps were not stored in a closed container but were left on the rail in <br />the UW storage area and were not labeled to identify type of UW. A UW handler shall label or mark UW <br />to identify the type of waste. Lamps (i.e., each lamp), or a container in which the lamp(s) are contained, <br />shall be labeled or marked clearly with the following phrase: "Universal Waste-Lamp(s)". Correct <br />immediately by marking the UW lamps with the words "Universal Waste-Lamp(s)". Submit a statement <br />and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by October 5, 2013. <br />809. The facility did not demonstrate when the two UW lamps on the UW storage area became a UW. <br />The facility did not demonstrate when the two crates of UW electronics near the residential used oil <br />collection area became a UW. A UW handler shall accumulate UW for no longer than one year from the <br />date the UW was generated, or was received from another UW handler. A UW handler shall be able to <br />demonstrate the length of time that the UW has been accumulated from the date it became a waste or <br />was received. The UW handler may make this demonstration by: (1) Placing the UW in a container and <br />marking or labeling the container with the earliest date that any UW in the container became a waste or <br />was received. (2) Marking or labeling the individual item of UW with the date it became a waste or was <br />received. (3) Maintaining an inventory system on site that identifies the date the UW being accumulated <br />became a waste or was received. (4) Maintaining an inventory system on site that identifies the earliest <br />date that any UW in a group of items of UW or group of containers of UW became a waste or was <br />received; (5) Placing the UW in a specific accumulation area and marking or labeling the area to identify <br />the earliest date that any UW in the area became a waste or was received, or (6) Any other method <br />which clearly demonstrates the length of time that the UW has been accumulated from the date it <br />became a waste or was received. Correct immediately by demonstrating when the UW lamps and UW <br />electronics became a UW.
