July 11, 1988
40
Proj. No. E88-029
' SOIL SAMPLING & CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
PASMA BROTHERS
113 NORTH WALNUT AVENUE
RIPON, CALIFORNIA
r-
u
SITE DESCRIPTION
The project site was developed as a used car dealership, located on the
northwest corner of Walnut Avenue and Main Street in Ripon, California. The
site was developed with a building, canopy, and two underground fuel storage
tanks.
' In 1985 or 1986, one 1,000 gallon and one 750 gallon underground fuel
storage tanks were removed from the subject property. The excavations were
backfilled and covered with concrete slabs. Soil samples required by San Joaquin
Local Health District were not taken at the time of the tank removal. It was
understood from information provided to this office that, following the removal,
the San Joaquin Local Health District required soil samples to be obtained from
a depth slightly below the bottom of the previously existing tanks.
L
' KRAZAN & ASSOCIATES, INC.
