ACTIVITY 3 : Communication Network The communication network has been established and was con- tacted in late May. The June 9 , 1988 , letter from Pamela Beekley to the members of the network (included in Appen- dix B) describes the network and lists the network members . STATUS: The communication network has been established. Members will be contacted with status reports on a quarterly basis, unless more frequent communication is deemed necessary. ACTIVITY 4 : Mailing List The mailing list has been updated and expanded to include members of the communication network, adjacent property own- ers, the Port of Stockton, the Boggs Tract Improvement Dis- trict Board of Directors, local agency representatives and elected officials, interested organizations , media contacts, community members , and other interested parties. The July 27 , 1988 , letter from Nancy Heil to Charles McCormick (included in Appendix B) provides a copy of the mailing list. STATUS: Activity 4 is essentially complete. The mail- ing list will be updated to add names of interested parties requesting addition to the list, to change addresses in error, and to delete addresses returned as "No Such Number" by the U. S. Postal Service. ACTIVITY 5 : Public Meeting Notice/Progress Report/ Fact Sheet The first fact sheet on the project was distributed on Au- gust 5 , 1988 (included in Appendix B) . STATUS: The first fact sheet has been distributed. The public meetings notice will be included in a second fact sheet, currently scheduled for October 1988 . ACTIVITY 6 : Community Meetings STATUS: A community meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 1988 . ACTIVITY 7 : Public Notice/Fact Sheet for RAP STATUS: This activity will occur during preparation of the Draft Remedial Action Plan (RAP) . ACTIVITY 8 : RAP Public Meeting STATUS : This activity will occur during the public comment period on the RAP.
