Hazard Communications Standard 4 <br /> Right-To-Know <br /> Franzen-Hill Corporation <br /> dba FHEMCO <br /> a . On buildings smaller than 5 ,000 square feet , <br /> the placard shall be placed on the outside of <br /> the building . On buildings larger than 5 ,000 <br /> square feet , the placard shall be placed <br /> within the building , at appropriate areas <br /> inside . <br /> 2 . Where appropriate , all pipes and process lines <br /> whose contents and direction of flow are not <br /> obvious from the equipment served , shall be <br /> appropriately placarded , such that the placards are <br /> visible at access points . <br /> VII . TRAINING : <br /> A . WORKERS TO BE TRAINED <br /> 1 . All employees routinely exposed to hazardous <br /> materials through use , handling or transportation . <br /> 2 <br /> Orientation training for all employees who are <br /> newly hired , assigned , or transferred to a <br /> department where he/she will be routinely exposed <br /> to hazardous materials , or to a different set of <br /> hazardous materials shall be trained for the <br /> materials in use at their workplace . <br /> 3 . Employees exposed to materials at the jobsite which <br /> are the property of another employer ( ie : <br /> subcontractor , owner) . <br /> B . TRAINING COMPONENTS <br /> 1 .
