Review <br /> maintenance and operations in relation with applicable <br /> warranties , agreements to maintain , bonds , and similar <br /> continuing commitments . <br /> 8 . 8 Final Cleaning : <br /> 8 . 8 . 1 General : Special cleaning for specific units of work is <br /> specified in sections 2 through 14 . General cleaning <br /> during progress of work is specified in General <br /> Conditions and as temporary services in "Temporary <br /> Facilities " section of this Division . Provide final <br /> cleaning of the work , at time indicated consisting of <br /> cleaning each surface or unit of work to normal "clean" <br /> condition expected for a first -class building cleaning <br /> and maintenance program. Comply with manufacturer ' s <br /> instructions for cleaning operations . The following are <br /> examples , but not byway of limitation , of cleaning <br /> levels required . <br /> Remove labels which are not required as permanent labels . <br /> - Clean transparent materials , including mirrors and <br /> window/door glass , to a polished condition , removing <br /> substances which are noticeable as vision-obscuring <br /> materials . Replace broken glass and damaged <br /> transparent materials . <br /> - Clean exposed exterior and interior hard- surfaced <br /> finishes , to a dirt- free condition , free of dust , <br /> stains , films and similar noticeable distracting <br /> substances . Except as otherwise indicated , avoid <br /> disturbance of natural weathering of exterior surfaces . <br /> Restore reflective surfaces to original reflective. <br /> condition. <br /> Wipe surfaces of mechanical and electrical equipment <br /> clean , including elevator equipment and similar <br /> equipment ; remove excess lubrication and other <br /> substances . <br /> - Remove debris and surface dust from limited access <br /> spaces including roofs , plenums , shafts , trenches , <br /> equipment vaults , manholes , attics and similar spaces . <br /> VIII-6 <br />
