G . & E . records . <br /> Specifications and Addenda : Legibly mark each section to <br /> record : <br /> Manufacturer , trade name , catalog number , and Supplier of <br /> each product and item of equipment actually installed . <br /> Changes made by Field Order or by Change Order . <br /> 8 . 5 . 4 Maintenance Manuals : Organize maintenance-- and-operating <br /> manual information into suitable sets of manageable size , <br /> and bind into individual binders properly identified and <br /> indexed ( thumb-tabbed ) . Include emergency instructions , <br /> spare parts listing , copies of warranties , wiring <br /> diagrams , recommended " turn-around" cycles , inspection <br /> procedures , shop drawings , product data , and similar <br /> applicable information . Bind each manual of each set in <br /> a heavy-duty 2" , 3-ring vinyl-covered binder , and include <br /> pocket folders for folded sheet information . Mark <br /> identification on both front and spine of each binder . <br /> 8 . 6 Part 2 - Products : Not applicable . <br /> 8 . 7 Part 3 - Execution of Closeout Procedures : <br /> 8 . 7 . 1 General Operating /Maintenance Instruction : Arrange for <br /> each Installer of work requiring continuing maintenance <br /> or operation , to meet with P . G . & E . ' s personnel , at <br /> project site , to provide basic instructions needed for <br /> proper operation and maintenance of entire work. Include <br /> instructions by manufacturer ' s representatives where <br /> installers are not expert in the required procedures . <br /> Review maintenance manuals , record documentation , tools , <br /> spare parts and materials , lubricants , fuels , <br /> identification system , control sequences , hazards , <br /> cleaning and similar procedures and facilities .
