Weber Ave., Third Floor Fax No.510-842-9585 <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Re: Chevron Stations Inc. #200764 <br /> 4747 West Lane, Stockton <br /> The items listed below are in response to the violations as stated on the Underground Tank <br /> Program Inspection Report dated 10/1/97 for the above referenced station. <br /> • Item #1, 2, 3: 1997 Business Plan, Chemical Inventory, Monitoring Procedures, Emergency <br /> Response Plan, Daily Monitoring Logs and Underground Storage Tank records and other <br /> supporting documents were kept in a binder labeled Retail Facility Compliance Workbook in <br /> the managers office. The binder and contents thereof were moved to the cashier area on <br /> 10/13. <br /> • Item #4: Enclosed are 1995, 1996, and 1997 Arm"Monitoring Certification Testing reports. <br /> • Item #5: Chevron obtained final approval 9/14/90 from San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services, Tish Reach, R.E.H.S. with respect to the tanks and CEI monitoring system which <br /> included continuous electronic line pressure monitors for all product piping prior to <br /> construction of the station 10/90. Enclosed are copies of the approved As-Built Drawings, <br /> APCD Authority to Construct Permit, letter from Robert H. Lee & Associates to Chevron <br /> dated 9/20/90 containing an itemized list of required agency permits to date, a copy of the <br /> final Environmental Health Permit to Operate granted by San Joaquin County. No alterations <br /> or modifications have been made to the tank and monitoring since construction. <br /> • Item #6: Chevron Maintenance Mechanic Rob Connor completed removal of the turbine <br /> sump piping boots on 10/14/97. <br /> • Item #7: The assistant station manager removed the tape on the CEI audible al lm speaker on <br /> 10/7/97 as witnessed by Rob Connor. <br /> • Item 48: Existing tank and piping systems are double wall fiberglass installed at time of <br /> construction. Initial tank and line tests are enclosed. <br /> • Item #9: Annual Monitoring Certifications tests for 1995, 1996, and 1997 are enclosed. Prior <br /> years have been sent to central records warehouse for permanent storage. <br /> Additional enclosures include copies of the 1994 ST-27 and ST-30 tests, Environmental Health <br /> Division Tank Repair/Retrofit application submitted to your agency dated 8/8/97 as required to <br /> replace the regular unleaded Ronan LS-3 sump probe. <br />
